Microsoft-Yahoo!
Rumors of Microsoft’s possible acquisition of Yahoo! have been circulating for more than two years, of course, and I know Ray Ozzie would take pains to credit others who share responsibility for the takeover bid the company has now launched. Still, after nearly three years at Microsoft and a year and a half as Chief Software Architect, Ray’s influence is becoming increasingly visible externally, as Bloomberg and others rightly observed after the story broke.
