Thanks for visiting my blog. I’m a lawyer, so I suppose there has to be a bit of legal stuff. I’ll try to make this relatively painless.

The main thing I’d like you to understand is that I’m not providing legal advice to you through this weblog, even if you happen to be a client of my firm.  I maintain this weblog as a hobby.  I try to provide the sort of interesting, useful, timely information and thoughtful commentary you read in good newspapers and magazines.  (Okay, stop laughing.)  As with newspapers and magazines, however, some of the information may be wrong and all of the editorial commentary is just my two cents (and probably not worth even that).  This weblog’s content is no substitute for legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances, concerns and objectives, so do not rely on it as legal advice.  This weblog is not intended to be a solicitation to provide you with legal advice.
